Biography
Mike Muller
M.F.A. in Printmaking, University of North Texas; B.F.A., University of Oklahoma.
An art educator, Mike has been a printmaker and photographer for over 40 years. His primary focus is landscapes, and he often uses his photographs as inspiration for works in other mediums such as drawings and prints. He has had three solo shows and has been included in several two-person and regional group exhibitions. Mike has selected works included in public, museum and private art collections throughout the U.S. He and his students work are featured in the art education textbook, “Teaching and Learning in Art Education: Cultivating Student’s Potential from pre-K through High School” by Debrah C. Sickler-Voigt. In 2023, he appeared on “Maker Nation Challenge” reality streaming show printing a serigraph. Mike has been working as an art teacher for Oklahoma City Public Schools since 1997 and in 2009, earned his certificate as a National Board-Certified Teacher in art.
